You are more powerful than you think!

The mos

The most penetrating messages sent to your mind are through images. Your brain processes images 90x faster than verbal cues. So how does that prove my point? When you speak you create images in your mind, at the speed of light. Let that sink in...as a matter of fact, let me say it again: When you speak you create images in your mind, at the speed of light, faster than your mind can comprehend. Your words surpasses your awareness, conscious processing, and analytical efforts.

Your words are the strongest thing about you. Think about it. Even if you got smashed by a piano from the window of a 30 foot building while walking down the sidewalk...if you somehow lived... What would determine how quickly you recovered?

You believe what you hear. If all you hear is how horrible your life/spouse/job is--that's all you will believe. A thought becomes a belief when we put feeling into it. If you could somehow convince yourself to say "I love my wife!" with the same enthusiasm with which you bitch " I hate my fking boss!" eventually you would begin to feel a difference. Your disdain for your spouse would lighten. And should you continue to proclaim your love for the one you made vows to, at some point you would begin to believe it, and who knows, it would probably seep its way into your actions. Then she would notice, and you would have an easier marriage...even if just for a week...etc.

Stop saying you're fat! In saying that, you're only empowering yourself to remain in the pain that "being fat" brings you. What if you were to use the same breath that it takes to say those words and instead say what you would like to see, what you would like to feel? Yes, it sounds stupid. It feels even more dumb. It's somehow embarrassing--even if it's just you [by yourself] standing in front of the mirror. But if you will gather the wherewithal, to make your emotions back up your words, "I am healthy, strong, and fit!" "I have energy to spare and I feel more youthful everyday!" "I have never looked this good in my life!" "I am as beautiful (handsome) on the outside as I am on the inside" "I'm so fine, I can't keep 'em off of me!" Or whichever confidence boosting, uplifting statements you can say with conviction--even if it takes you a period of time saying it everyday before the feeling is behind it without you feeling like a fraud, or feeling silly...you'll see an immediate difference.

You might need to do some jump-n-jacks or run in place for a minute before you attempt it, just to get you to loosen up and to get your juices pumping, so you can take all that built up energy and focus it on meaning what you say. (I highly recommend it!)

When a weight lifter is in the gym and he's curled the dumbbell for as many reps and sets as he could, if he can some how use his words to tell himself that he does have has another set in him, she will find the strength, where there was none, to do another set!

Just know you must speak these words aloud. You have to hear you say it! Each time it gets easier.

Whether you want to acknowledge it or choose to scientifically explain it away, God built this world by speaking it into existence. Then some time later we came along, and he made us just like Him. Let me explain that, the same power that the Creator used to create things as grand and awe inspiring as peacocks in all their splendor, and the ocean with its infinite majesty--rests inside of you! In your mouth, actually. And guess what, you've been using it all the while. The only thing is, you didn't know! You probably only used it to perpetuate your [unfavorable] circumstances. Oh, you didn't know that's what complaining was? Me either actually, until this very moment typing this....ain't God good how He works like that?! I digress. Complaining is essentially fortifying, reinforcing what you see to [continue to] be so. It's giving it the strength to remain. Umph! Complaining is you, in all of your God-likeness, and robust ability to create what you want, choosing to create what you see--and hate.

Why is it you think, that in church we stand and read scripture aloud? Why were we made to Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America out loud? Chances are, you believed what the Bible says--you believed that you were proud to be an American seemingly all-of-a-sudden, one day. [To my WOKE folk, just stay with me in my analogies it doesn't mean that you didn't seek to find enlightenment otherwise.] You said it, you heard it, you believed it. Imagine if you put that formula into practice with your well-being or financial situation? That's what I'm saying. You are POWERFUL!

You are literally able to create from the ether. You can make something where there was nothing. When you believe something to be true, your brain (sub-conscious mind) kicks into overdrive searches for ways to prove you right. It will grasp all the kinds of faint clues to corroborate what you've seen in your mind's eye. Its like how you never noticed how many vegans worked at your job until you got curious about the lifestyle. Tony Robbins talks about it all the time. It's a real thing, its called your Reticular Activation System . I've mentioned it before in other blog posts. I will continue to bring it up because it has such HUGE implications in living a life on purpose, and in seeking to become more self aware, and stepping into your greatness which is what I'm here to help you do--didn't you know?!

Would it be a catalyst or an impediment?
